Description: The chickpea is a good source of amino acids and is therefore a valuable and highly nutritious. The "Pascià" variety is widespread in Sicily and presents the medium-sized seeds that remain intact after cooking. It has a very distinctive taste and is very aromatic. Excellent as a soup or as a side dish, not only as a condiment for pasta, they need to be "soaked" for about 8 hours before cooking.
